The $50 & Under Beauty Gift Guide | Blogmas Day 11
I'm praying that I get this guide up for Blogmas day 11 cause it has a whole lotta good stuff in it. Some of the products I've already purchased for myself, and a few more are calling my name π. Oh and of course a few of them would make perfect presents for other people too (although I can't be the only one who's thinking of herself when reading/ making gift guides.)
If you haven't been following along on my Blogmas journey, you may be interested in my $10 and under beauty gift guide as well as my $25 and under beauty gift guide.
Asian (or Asian Inspired) Skincare
1. Boscia Mask It All Set
This set is perfect for someone who enjoys skintertainment. The Black mask featured in this set is so fun to use since it dries as one solid layer and you get to peeeeel it off. It's also very satisfying to see the gunk it pulls out of your skin. I would say it's like a gentle version of the Biore nose strips. And for your whole face instead of just your nose.
2. Tatcha Kyoto Cleanse Set
Tatcha items are pricey AF. Thankfully with this set you can gift someone a taste of luxury for less than $30. I've spotted this set in stores and I really appreciate how Tatcha packaged the minis just as beautifully as the full sized products.
3. Dr. Jart+ Masking All The Way
I can almost guarantee that this would make the perfect gift for any sheet mask addict. And if they're not already a sheet mask addic this set would probably convert them.
4. Belif Don't Be Flaky Gift Set
Belif's Moisturizing Bomb has been a hit at Sephora ever since it was first introduced. If you have dry skin this cream is a life saver! And for the price of the moisturizer, you get two more mini freebies.
5. Too Cool For School 1/2 Dozen Egg Cream Mask
Same as the Dr. Jart set, this is a dream com true for any sheet masking addict.
6. Belif Let it Glow Set
I haven't tried any of the products in the set but Gothamista has given rave reviews to both the Hungarian water essence and the peat revival eye cream. If I remember correctly, she shared how the peat revival eye cream is a best-seller at Belif!
7. Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Exclusive Set
I featured both the full size of the Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Liquid and Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream in my Sephora V.I.B. skincare haul after stalking them for some months. Basically ceramides are supposed to help repair your skin's moisture barrier which is a plus if you've got dry or dehydrated skin (like moi.) I've worked both into my routine over the past month and I'm happy to report back that my skin has improved! I am a bit sad to also report that I'm going through the Ceramidin cream fast which is a shame since that shit is essspensive.
Bottom line is I give this set two thumbs up for anyone with dry or dehydrated skin!

8. Foreo LUNA play Cleansing Discovery Must-Haves
I bought the Luna mini during the holidays last year and it's still use it on the daily. Maybe that doesn't mean much for some people but considering I get bored with items pretty quickly, a whole year of daily use is impressive for me.
The Luna play is a new addition to the Luna line for 2016. It's a mini sized disposable Luna which you can use up to a 100 times. Although I have read many negative reviews stating that the 100 use limit is grossly overexaggerated. But still, the Play is a great way for someone to try out a luna device without making the total investment! Plus you get two free cleansers in this gift set.
I know that when they first started selling the Luna Play they came with a $40 coupon you could use towards a full sized Luna. I'm not sure if that's still the case but if it is, it's basically like you're getting this set for free if you end up buying the full sized version!
9. Farmacy Skin Savior Kit
Farmacy seems to be such an underrated skincare brand. They've got their own farm where they harvest their own ingredients for their products. It's the whole farm-to-table concept but instead it's farm-to-face. This set features a nice variety of items-- a sleeping mask, a mist, a hydrating mask, and an all-in-one mask.
I have minis of both the Skin Dew and the Sleep Tight and have enjoyed them the few times I've used them. The Skin Dew is an improved version of the Caudalie Beauty Elixir in my opinion.
10. Farmacy Beauty Buzz Box Honey Gift Set
I'm a bit confused by this set since it includes a full sized Honey Potion mask which retails for $54... yet this gift set is only $48? π€π€ Either way, $5 from each purchase of this box goes towards City Growers Bee Education Workshops and programs.
(And I might be super duper tempted to give this to myself π)
11. Farmacy Beauty Perennial Picks
This is an alternate set to the Farmacy Skin Savior Kit. It also includes 4 minis from Farmacy beauty. I linked to the set to the Farmacy webpage but I've also seen it in stores at Sephora inside JCPenney.
12. Sephora Favorites Scouted by Sephora
It wouldn't be a gift guide if I didn't include at least one Sephora Favorites set. This set includes a bunch of minis from various higher end skincare brands-- Drunk Elephant, Herbivore, Jurlique, Lancer, Tata Harper, and more. It's the perfect high end skincare taster set. Nom nom nom.

13. Sephora Chic It Easy Favorites Set
As awesome as the Sephora Favorites sets are, this one stands out since it includes full sized products of luxury brands! There's a full sized YSL Touche Eclat concealer, a full sized Nars lipstick, and a full sized travel size Caudlie beauty elixir.
14. Tarte Hello Gorgeous Color Collection
$34 for a full sized Tarte eyeliner and mascara is a fantastic value. Throw in two more mini lip products and you've got yourself an even better deal. I think this would be a perfect gift for someone with a burgeoning makeup collection since you've got 4 different products in one.
There's also this set which includes 3 mascaras and 1 eyeliner for $1 more.
15. Smashbox Light It Up Primer Set
I bought this set on Black Friday on sale but even at retail price, it's a pretty good value. The set includes two of Smashbox's cult favorite primers-- both of which I love and would reccomend. The primer water is perfect this time of year and the mini size included in this set is perfect for popping into your bag.
16. Nars Mind Game Velvet Lip Glide set
I already raved about this set in my Sephora V.I.B. makeup haul but basically if you're a Nars lip lover, you need to try to get your hands on this set! Or rather if whoever you're gifting is a Nars lip lover, you need to try to get your hands on this set! I'll be doing a full review/ swatches post on it later this month π
17. Anastasia Beverly Hills Master Brow Kit
Brows and ABH are two words that go hand in hand for many beauty enthusiasts. I've personally been using the clear brow gel and brow powder duo on a daily basis for the past 2 weeks so I would hands down recommend this set.
I would also venture to say it's perfect for someone who is new to doing their brows as I'm a brow noob and I can make these products work with little difficulty.
18. Lime Crime Mini Velvetine Matte Lipstick Box Set
I've personally stayed away from all things Lime Crime due to their various scandals throughout the year, but I do acknowledge that their velvetine lipsticks are very popular in the online beauty community. Some people even credit them for the whole matte liquid lipstick trend!
This set from UO includes three mini velvetines in a super, duper cute rose tin. There are also 4 more color options so there's sure to be a color combo for everyone's tastes.
19. Beautyblender 4 Piece Set
Before I bought the beautyblender I didn't get why anyone would pay $20 for a stinkin' sponge. But after I bought my first one, I haven't looked back.
If you're hesitant about spending $40 on a single sponge this set is a much better value. For $40 not only do you get two sponges, but you also get a free mini beauty blender and a full sized cleanser! Plus Macy's currently has a promotion where you get a free mini beautyblender with every beautyblender purchase! So it's like getting the cleanser and two mini beautyblenders for free ππ

20. Bumble & Bumble Wishes 'Do Come True Kit
If I had to pick one item in my haircare routine to splurge on, it would be the Bumble & Bumble hairdresser's invisible oil. I've been using it for about a year now and I have definitely seen an improvement in my hair. The biggest being that I barely get split ends now!
Additionally this is the only oil I've been able to use on my dry hair that doesn't turn it into a grease ball.
21. Klorane Papyrus Milk Blowout Kit
Klorane's dry shampoo is another one of my haircare favorites. It's definitely splurgey for a dry shampoo but it works sooo well. Especially if you have dark hair since it easily blends into your hair.
If you've got a friend interested in trying out French pharmacy products, this is the set for her/ him.
