A Not Even Half-Assed Weekend Edit | Blogmas Day 10
Full disclosure, this is a totally lazy, not even half-assed sorta post. I had initially planned on posting another gift guide today... but ended up going shopping instead. SO instead here's a super duper random weekend edit because I refuse to fail at blogmas!
1. Michelle Obama on Vogue
Last month my Vogue subscription lapsed and while I have been meaning to renew it, I know I won't be getting the December edition when I do. But I'm gonna go ahead and pay cover price for it because the First Lady is on the cover. Over the past 8 years Michelle Obama has become one of my idols and it hurts my heart to know that in less than 2 months there will be a different First Lady. I can't 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
2. Westworld
If you haven't watched Westworld yet then go, run, Forrest, run! Last week was the season 1 finale and I'm still not really sure what the fuck happened. I'm probably going to spend tomorrow night (aka really tonight because it's almost Sunday as I'm posting this) rewatching it to see if I can make better sense of it.
If you've watched it too, what are your thoughts?!
3. Trader Joe's Vanilla & Cinnamon Black Tea
I'm obsessed and don't want to drink any other tea this holiday season.
4. Kat Von D Pastel Goth
Even though I don't own any Kat Von D eyeshadow palettes that doesn't mean I haven't been tempted to buy any Kat Von D eyeshadow palettes. The other day Kat posted spoilers of the outer packaging of a new palette called "Pastel Goth." See a screenshot/ reddit post about it here!
And I know that pastel eyeshadows would probably look terrible on my skintone but that won't stop me from being tempted by the palette too!
5. Lip Liners
What lip liners do you recommend? I seem to have a recent influx of new lip liners and now I wanna do a comparison post/ potential series. What brands are your favs?
