20 Beauty Gifts Under $25 | Blogmas Day 7
I never know how much to type on this gift guide kinda posts. Should I talk about every single item? Should I only talk about the ones I've used? Should I just shut up? I DON'T KNOW!
Buuut because my $10 & under beauty gift guide was simply links and pics, I went to the other end of the spectrum for this gift guide and am talking about all. the. things! As the budget gets higher, the gift guides get harder to make since there are so many options! And the $25 & under category is a damn good one.
1. Benton Travel Set
I've never tried anything by Benton before but they're a highly raved about brand in the online AB world. This gift set contains 4 mini travel sized products including their best-selling aloe propolis soothing gel (which I recently purchased the full size of!) This set would be perfect for someone who travels a lot or someone who is interested in getting into K-beauty!
2. Drunk Elephant DayGlow Duo
If you read my Black Friday Haul Part 1 post you may remember that I hauled some Drunk Elephant goodies, including a full size of this C-Firma Day Serum and a mini of the B-Hydra Gel. Both are highly raved about products and make for the perfect gift for any skincare fanatic. The C-Firma Day Serum is also supposed to have kickass anti-aging capabilities so it would be the perfect gift for anyone looking to up their anti-aging game. I may need to pick this set up for my mom π
3. DHC Holiday Beauty Bento Box
The other week I hauled the DHC cleansing oil which is basically the OG cleansing oil. I've been using it quite often and I totally get the hype around it! It cleanses my skin beautifully without making my face dry. This Bento Box includes the cleansing oil as well as three more of DHC's best-sellers!
4. Peter Thomas Roth Meet Your Mask Kit
I'm 100% convinced that everyone should be masking. And what better way to get someone to start masking than to gift them a masking sampler set? And if they're a seasoned masker, they'll appreciate the set even more!
5. Mario Badescu Multimasker
Another mask set you say? Why of course π
6. Belif Bestsellers On-The-Go Set
Ever since Sephora started selling Belif last year, I've been hearing about them all over the place. I've tried their aqua bomb and moisturizing bomb and would give them both a thumbs up! This set features 5 of their bestsellers in mini sizes (including the aqua bomb!)
7. AmorePacific Polish & Hydrate 2-Step Complexion Brightening Duo
So back in June I picked up a Sephora favorites set featuring this AmorePacific moisture renewal spray. After seeing that the spray had an alcohol base I wrote it off and stashed it in the bottom of my drawer. But then after watching a Gothamista video I decided to give it a go and I was soo impressed! I usually hate alcohol based sprays but this one is awesome and didn't dry out my skin. It also has the finest mister I've ever used. Even finer than Mac Fix+!
They have since reformulated the spray to be without alcohol and according to Gothamista the new one is even better! According to the ingredients, the mist in this set has the new formula π
I haven't used the peel that comes with the set but it seems to be a pretty popular item. It's similar to Tatcha's rice enzyme powder in that it's a powder and you mix it with water to use it.
8. CosRX Limited Edition Holiday Mask Duo
I posted this gift set on my insta-stories because I was so excited to see it! It's two jumbo sizes of CoxRX's sleeping masks! If you're like "huh, what's CosRx?" they're a Korean brand known for making affordable but effective skincare products. Both these masks are supposed to lock in moisture overnight and give you a glowing face in the morning!
They're usually housed in tubs but in this set they're packaged in tubes.
9. Clarins The Supermom Secret
I kinda want to buy this for mom simply because it's has "Supermom" in the name. The Beauty Flash Balm in the kit is raved about for giving a glowy complexion. In addition there are three other minis aim to target wrinkles and an uneven skintone! This kit is chock-full of anti-aging goodies!
10. Origins Energizing Essentials 2
At this point you probably aren't surprised to spot another mask set on this list. This Origins set comes with a really nice variety of masks-- one for hydrating, one to clear out your pores, and one that isn't a mask but actually a "frothy" face wash.
11. Sephora Favorites- Customizable Haircare & Skincare Set
The pick your own Sephora Favorites sets are absolutely the best! If you read my VIB sale skincare haul you may remember that I picked this one up for myself ;) Not only is the kit a fantastic value, it's the perfect way to gift someone both skincare and haircare. Plus a lot of the products are pretty universal-- a sheet mask, a hair mask, a light gel cream are things that everyone can use.
12. Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip
If you shop at Sephora and haven't heard of the Sephora Favorites sets... where have you been?!?! The Sephora Favorites sets are all ridiculously amazing values. This set includes 6 deluxe sized lipsticks from brands like Marc Jacobs, Tarte, Kat Von D, and more! If you know someone itching to try out the Kat Von D liquid lipsticks this is a fun kit since along with it, she (or he) can try out 5 other formulas!
13. Real Techniques Miracle Sponges Set
Real Techniques sponges are hands down the most popular affordable options when it comes to makeup sponges. For the cost of 1 beauty blender, you can get 2 of the miracle complexion sponges, 1 of the miracle sculpting sponge, and 3 of the miracle eraser sponges. Now that's a great value. It's the perfect gift for people who are lazy about washing their brushes/ sponges since they'll always have a clean backup thanks to this kit π
14. Stila Bright & Bold Lip Kit
Matte liquid lipsticks still seem to be going strong in the beauty world. This set is the perfect sampler as you get 3 shades to try for $20. If you follow Blair of Atlantic-Pacific, she's always rocking Besos (and yeah I'm a fan girl and totally remembered that from memory.) If you're more of a neutrals kinda gal, you can check out the same set with different colors here.
15. Milk X UO Holiday Set
I've got mixed feelings on Milk's branding. Where Glossier succeeded at the whole I'm too cool for makeup makeup, Milk falls into the try hard category. Branding aside their products do sound cool and I have read positive reviews on them. This gift set from UO is a fun way to sample a couple of products from their line.
16. Bite Beauty The Perfect Bite Kit
During the VIB sale I bought the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche lipstick in Nori. While the shade isn't my favorite, the formula is fantastic! It's very creamy, hydrating, and pigmented. I sort of wish I got this set instead since it comes with four mini lipsticks for the price of one full sized one! The colors are Fig, Pepper, Honeycomb, and Nori.
17. Becca Glow On The Go Opal
Becca highlighters were the first I ever tried and to this day, I still think they're the best. Both the liquid and pressed formula wear so well and your highlight will be seen from the stars. This is a fun gift for any beauty lover-- but especially those who haven't tried out the Becca highlighters yet. Because after this set they'll be converted!
18. LORAC Happy Hour Hues Alter Ego Lip Gloss Set
This set is a damn good value. $96 worth of lip gloss for $25? HELL YEA! Plus you can use the coupon code "DSWONDER" for 20% off plus free shipping!
19. ColourPop Love Line Foursome
I'm only featuring one of the Colourpop sets but in reality Colourpop has more than a dozen gift sets for less than $25! The set I picked to feature comes with 4 neutral, pinky shadows which I would have to say is one of the trendiest color schemes of 2016 (hellooo, ABH MR palette.) You can find the rest of the gift sets here.
20. Merry & Bright 3 Piece Hydrating Color Collection
I've never actually tried anything by Laura Geller but whenever I hear about it, it's almost followed by the statement that it's a totally underrated brand. This gift set features a blush, a lip gloss, and a hydrating makeup primer. The blush is such a beautiful color and it has their well known swirly design.
Aaaand that's it, folks! Are you planning on gifting any of these? What's your favorite beauty gift of the season?
