5 Last Minute Beauty Gifts for Everyone

As much as I love beauty, I acknowledge that not everyone gets excited at the prospect for learning about a new retinoid alternative that promises to deliver double the results with half the sensitivity. As such, gifting people beauty products isn’t always the vibe— unless you know they want a specific item. While skincare and makeup won’t make the best universal gifts, I do think there are some beauty gifts that work for pretty much everyone on your gifting list. All of these are amazing last minute gifting ideas as you can find them in stores local to you and don’t have to deal with the full drama of ✨the supply chain✨

Candles
Candles are the best. I am fully convinced that 90% of people who are not candle people can be converted into candle people. A good candle just has that magic!! Also, it’s never too late to head to your local Bath & Body Works, TJ Maxx, or Target to give a sniff at their in-store selections, and find one that looks and smells cute! Some of my all time favorite candles, that I think most people will enjoy:

Diptyque Tubereuse & Boy Smells Cameo via Nordstrom & Bloomingdale’s
Voluspa Panjore Lychee via Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, & Anthropologie
Overose Nudesse via Sephora
Brooklyn Candle Studio Santa Fe via Brooklyn Candle Studio & Whole Foods & other local stores in store (all stockists here!)

Room Spray
While you technically could gift someone a bottle of Febreze air freshener, it might send the wrong message. But a nice room spray is a totally elevated, adult, sophisticated gift. And nice doesn’t have to mean expensive either— the PF & Candle Co spray is under $20! Plus my local target always has cute options closer to the $10 range. And if you want to go bougie, the Byredo room sprays are an absolute splurge but make for a gift someone will love for a loooong time.

Byredo via Nordstorm & Bloomingdale’s
PF & Candle Co via Urban Outfitters & Nordstrom

Silk Pillowcase
A silk pillowcase falls under the category of things you didn’t think you needed but once you have one you understand why you need one. I bought my first Slip Pillowcase 4 years ago, and have been a convert ever since. They are quite pricey, but worth the long term investment for me as I find they’re gentler on my skin and hair. Plus, I tend to run hot when I sleep and silk stays way cooler than cotton and synthetic blends.

Slip Silk Pillowcase via Anthropologie (currently 30% off!!)
Brooklinen Pillowcase via Brooklinen (currently 20% off)
Good Side Pillowcase via Good Side

Bath & Body Sets
After the past 2 years, just about everyone could indulge in a at home spa day— and bath sets can make it happen. And if someone doesn’t have a bathtub, a luxurious body scrub and yummy shower gel can still be a treat to use!

Herbivore Botanicals via Sephora (on sale for $29!)
Susanne Kauffman via Violet Grey
Philosophy via Ulta (on sale from $34 —> $20)
Lush via Lush (they also have a ton of different gift sets from $15- $100+)
Omorovicza via Net-A-Porter

Hand Care Essentials
I can’t speak for everyone, but I know my hands have been extra dry from all the excessive hand-washing thanks to the global panorama. Making that experience a little bit fancier with a nice hand wash and lotion is one of those little, daily indulgence that I think everyone can appreciate. I looove the Ouai hand lotion and wash cause the brand sells refills for them. Plus the minimalistic design is so chic!

Ouai Hand Wash & Lotion via Ulta & Sephora
CO Bigelow Duo via Nordstrom
Nest via Bloomingdale’s & Nordstrom
