The Post No-Buy Haul | What I Bought in June

Back in May I completed my first successful no-buy! I did falter a bit towards the end... but I'm still calling it a success because I spent about $10 in literal pocket change. Once June hit I was afraid I would go crazy and buy all the things. Thankfully I was able to show some self-restraint and only bought a few things.

As the month went on, I bought a few more things but nothing too crazy. Since I haven't done a haul in a while, I figured I would share what I got. I'll be reviewing some of the products down the line so I didn't do any first impressions here. This post was pretty much just an excuse for me to take photos of new shit 😜

Vogue x Birchbox 125th Anniversary Box
This was my one splurgey purchase of the month. But like I discussed in my post no-buy wish list post, it's more than worth the price to me because I'll actually use most of the products in the box. And I have!

The RMS lip2cheek has been my jam and I've already wore the Jin Soon nail polish twice! And I'm getting ready to try the Herbivore mist and Charlotte Tilbury mask soon.

By some miracle, the box is still in stock! You can grab it here.

Biossance Squalane + Antioxidant Cleansing Oil
I finally finished up my Palmer's cleansing oil, so I had an excuse to try add a new cleansing oil to my arsenal. Biossance has been a brand on my radar ever since they repackaged and renamed their line. I love the focus on squalane and as per usual, fell for their packaging. The new deep green packaging is so much sleeker and more modern in my eyes!

Jordan Samuel Skin PliΓ© Cleanser
If you also follow 398423948 skincare accounts on Instagram, you've probably also heard of Jordan Samuel Skin. The brand is founded by a dancer turned esthetician and focuses on gentle but effective products. All products are sold directly from their site and the prices are very reasonable for a small, green brand.

I had been tempted to buy all 3 of their OG products but reigned myself in and went for the cleanser. I should be doing a first impression review on it in a post this weekend πŸ˜‰

Indie Lee Squalane Oil
I've been itching to try out Indie Lee products and took advantage of Anthropologie's 20% off sale to grab this squalane oil. I've been squalane obsessed ever since trying the Olivarrier fluid oil which I briefly talked about in my spring beauty favorites post.

I want to write up a squalane intro + comparison post later this summer so I've been collecting a few different ones to try out.

Timeless Skin Squalane Oil
Another one for my squalane comparison post. Also, if you've been wanting to try out the Ordinary's squalane oil but aren't because Deciem has been in cahoots with EL/ waiting for other items to come back in stock/ whatever other reason I recommend checking out Timeless Skin. Their oil is also extremely affordable, they're cruelty-free, they have free US shipping on all orders, and I'm 90% sure they're made in the US!

Beautibi Haul
Hyggee's one step balance essence was a routine staple for me in the winter. It was the product that made me want to give oils a second chance. When I saw that Beautibi curated more products from the brand, I couldn't resist picking up the cleansing water. And because I needed to hit $50 to get free shipping and because I had been seeing these sheet masks on Instagram, I bought some Kin Girls and Maskingdom masks.

Jen was so kind and also sent over the Hyggee all in one cream + some Hyggee cotton pads for me to try out!

And of course, the order came with samples galore + confetti + a handwritten note. As someone who has a love for all mini beauty products, mini sheet masks are my soft spot. They're just too cute!

Skinstore + Look Fantastic Haul (PR Gift)
I wouldn't usually include a PR gift in a haul post, but Skinstore & Look Fantastic were so generous I had to take a moment to chat about the products they sent over. Especially because I know it will take me months to properly test everything out πŸ™ˆ

I already mentioned the Lululun masks in an Instagram post, but if you don't follow me over there-- Lululun is a Japanese skincare brand. Their masks are well known because some of them don't come individually wrapped and instead come in a large box.

Other skincare bits I'm so excited to try are the La Roche Posay My UV Patch and PMD Personal Microderm system. I have to do a bit more research and reading before I give them a go, but I've gotten good reviews on them when I shared them on my Instagram stories.

If you're not signed up for Skinstore or Look Fantastic's mailing lists, I highly suggest you change that because they offer a ton of great promos quite frequently! At the moment Skinstore is offering 20% off and they have a very generous gift with purchase on all orders over $79 (it includes two Omorovicza products!)

And that's everything I bought in June! My birthday is at the end of July and I'm going to try avoiding much during the month so I can justify going a little crazy for my birthday 😎 What have you bought recently?
