Black Friday + Cyber Week Haul Part Dos | Blogmas Day 18
It's been more than half a month since Black Friday and Cyber Week, but I've finally reeled in all my purchases and can finally post part II of my haul! Actually I should amend that statement and say that I have almost all my purchases. The $3 limited edition Vaseline I bought from Target seems to be lost in transit. But it happens this time of year and I have complete confidence that it'll end up in my hands eventually!
In all honesty I have amassed so much new skincare during the past month of sales that I probably won't be using many of these for at least a few months since I want to finish up my current stash. But nevertheless I am excited to have purchased them on sale!
I featured half of these single shadows in my first haul, and here's my completed palette! At 60% off they were too amazing a deal to pass up. I don't have any swatches yet but I'll dedicate a proper post to them post-Blogmas.
Beautius Sheet Masks
If you follow me on Instagram (@sharmtoaster) then it's no shocker that I'm a sheet mask addict. On Black Friday Beautius had various discounts across their store and were offering a free gift with all purchases! I ended up buying 3 masks...because packaging: one L'herboflore Deep Sea Balancing mask and two limited edition King of Cats My Beauty Diary masks. As a free gift I got a sheet of stickers and 2 face masks! So it was like a buy 3 get 2 free deal for me π
At the moment they're having a similar sale on their masks pluuus you get 10% off if you spend $39+.
Oolu Jasmine Moisture Liquid, Oolu Orchid Toner, & Oolu Mist Lotion Ginseng + Gold (20% off with my link π)
I had some Memebox referral credit taunting me in my inbox so I went ahead and made a few purchases during their Cyber Week + 12 Days of Joy promotions. All these Oolu things were a result of binge watching Gothamista's videos one afternoon.
Apparently Oolu is owned by the same brand as Whamisa, another brand that champions itself as a "natural brand." That type of marketing doesn't really appeal to me since a lot of times it's a large, heaping load of horseshit. I haven't done tons of research on Oolu but I do think it's funny that on their homepage it says "Oolu, a carefully formulated mixture selected by plastic surgeons." Because when I think natural skincare, I think plastic surgery π
On a more positive note, Oolu shares that all their products take 1,656 hours to curate from start to finish. They also include corresponding real flowers/ plants in the actual bottles! Another thing I remember from Gothamista's videos is that their formulations are water-free, that way you really know you aren't simply getting fancy fragranced water to spritz on yo face.
Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel (20% off with my link π)
I bought this because it was on sale and because I've liked the Benton products I've tried thus far...πΈπΈπΈ
Papa Recipe White Flower Clear Up 8% AHA Gel (20% off with my link π)
Same reason as above.
Freeset Donkey Milk Healing Skin Gel Mask Pack (20% off with my link π)
I've heard great things about this mask over on the Asian Beauty subreddit so I went ahead and picked up two in one of my Memebox orders. THE PACKAGING IS HOLOGRAPHIC! How freakin' amazing is that?!

For the longest time I thought MAC lip liners were overhyped. Whenever I swatched them in stores on my hand they seemed dry and uncomfortable. The one time a sales associate sanitized one for me to try wasn't much better. But because MAC was having a 25% off sale I decided to buy Soar to see what the fuck the hype was all about.
I'm glad to say I was wrong and the hype is there. The lip liner glided along my lips with full pigmentation. While it was still a bit drying, it was much better than what I expected. I liked 'Soar' so much I went back the next day to pick up another shade.
I swear the colors look more different in real life π
I was already getting a lip liner, so why not get a lipstick too? Do you see how dangerous my brand of logic is?
This PTR set from Macy's was actually my earlier Black Friday sale since I think I ordered it on the Wednesday before Black Friday. But even then it was so popular it went on backorder! For $10 I got three mini PTR masks which is a pretty great deal since this set usually retails for $20! I tried the pumpkin enzyme mask this week and it smells like pumpkin pie, y'all. I have an Ulta coupon and I'm really tempted to pick up the full size... (although I have enough masks to last me for months π
These MBD masks tho. And I bought them from Target of all places!
I reviewed them a few days ago and I am in love! Also the aforementioned limited edition Vaseline tin would also be included in my Target haul whenever it arrives.
Do you remember the days when every Youtuber and her mom was raving about this mist? While it still gets a lot of love on the beauty blogosphere, I don't think it's quite as hyped as it used to be. Despite the many accolades, a few reviews admitting that the actual mist was average held me back from purchasing it despite my love for mists. But as always the beautiful suckered me in and I had to give it a try since it was on sale.
I am kinda disappointed to say it only contains 1.35 oz because $48 for 1.35 oz is blasphemous!
