To be honest, I kinda forgot that I owned this lipstick. But lately I've been craving glossy, natural colored lips and this has become my go to! I love the sheer shade of pink it adds to my lips. It's the kind of color that enhances your natural lip color and gives you that "just kissed," or in my case "just ate an entire bowl of strawberries," look.
And after wearing mostly matte and semi-matte lipsticks for the longest time, it's so refreshing to wear something that isn't out to suck all the moisture out of my lips. Even though it's a glossy lipstick, there's no stickiness whatsoever. The only downside is that it's ridiculously expensive.

My opinions on this product are much improved from my initial impression. Do I think it deserves all the hype it gets? No. Do I think it's a good primer? Yes. Would I pay $50+ to repurchase it after I'm done with it? Probably.
If you read my November first impressions post, you might remember I mentioned how this primer leaves a white cast on my skin as it separates into a liquidy mess. I've since found that if I shake the primer before I pump it out, it comes out at a thicker consistency, making it easier to blend and removing the whole white cast issue.
What I really appreciate about this primer is that I think it works on all types of skin types. It doesn't get patchy on dry skin but also keeps oiliness at bay. Another plus is that it also does a lovely job of smoothing out thecraters larger pores on my cheeks. If you're looking to try it out, they also sell an $18 .33 fl oz version of it.
Kiehl's lip balm #1
This product confounds me because I've never really tried anything like it. It's not really a lip balm but it's also not really a lip gloss. I'm not gonna lie, the only reason I bought it is because the saleswoman at the Kiehl's counter convinced me it was something magical. Which it is.
It comes out as a clear... gel. I can't even properly describe the consistency because like I said, it's somewhere between a balm and a gloss. It rolls easily over my lips and moisturizes them, but also leaves a nice gloss. If you apply too much, it's recommended to leave it there because as time passes your lips will absorb it as extra moisture. And since my lips are perpetually dry, of course I want all the extra moisture I can get!
Marc Jacobs highliner gel eye crayon eyeliner in blacquer
It's not often that a product lives up to the hype surrounding it. But this eyeliner isn't overrated at all, in fact, I would call it underrated! I first bought it because in a review Tati said that it stained her contact lens. I'm sure there are those who would be slightly frightened by that notion, but all I thought was "oh man, that liner is too legit to quit."
This is the first eyeliner I've used that actually stays in my waterline without smudging all over my under eye skin. I do concede that if it's a 85°+ day and I've been wearing this liner for 8+ hours, there is some smudging-- but that's to be expected under such circumstances.
Becca shimmering skin perfector in moonstone
I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but I'll say it again. If I had the money to buy all the Becca shimmering skin perfectors, I would. They're all so beautiful and shiny and make me feel like breaking out some Hannah Montana dance moves and lyrics. And isn't that the point of makeup? To feel good about yourself to the point you'll start awkwardly dancing like a prepubescent pop star?
Cheesiness aside, this produce is awesome. It's got the perfect amount of sheen and the finest glitter particles. Because I have large pores, it doesn't work so well as a base product for me since the glitter draws unwanted attention to said pores. But when used on the high points of my face, it provides quite the natural glow! Initially I bought it because I thought it would be an intense highlighter, but I'm pleasantly surprised to say that it's actually more subtle than the pressed version and easier to use. The one con is that I find it difficult to build up-- either the highlighter spreads to other areas of my face or it looks way too streaky. But that doesn't bother me much because if I want a more intense highlight I'll just pop on some powder highlighter on top!
