paying retail

It's safe to say that at least 90% of my wardrobe was purchased at some sort of discount. Whether it be 10% or 80% off, I need to feel as if I am getting some sort of deal or bargain by purchasing an item. (If the item is cheap enough at retail value, I'll just go for it. Hello forever 21) But otherwise why buy something when I know that it will become cheaper sooner or later. But every once in a while, a very rare while, something comes along and I just have to have it. These zara sandals are that ever coveted item. I wrote a few posts back how I am super picky with sandals, and these are just ever so perfect in my eyes. Ever since I saw them in the new spring/ summer lookbook I have just been waiting for them to show up on the site. I kept checking back every few days, and finally they were showing up under the shoes section! I clicked on the image ready to add them to my cart, not even giving a second thought about the price. But then they hit me with this "coming soon!!" business. I don't want them soon, I want them now. Oh well, I guess I can wait a little longer. I'm just going to be eagerly waiting for that email notifying that they have them in my size! I may just call every zara store in the LA area in the hopes that they have them. I swear I'm not crazy, just a girl in love...with a pair of shoes. The way it should be.

Update on March 5th: They have them in stock!! I ordered mine, but I sent them home to save some $$ on tax. Aka I won't get to see them for 2 1/2 weeks :(
